This studio is located on the top floor of a 3-storey building. Verdant, peaceful and highly respected neighbourhood with great sports/outdoor activity possibilities.
Note that the balcony is out of use for ~ 2 months when the balcony and facade renovation of the apartment building starts (probably in July). Please contact me for more details, thank you.
For the whole period (1.6 - 24.8) the rent is 2000 euros (includes water + Wi-Fi + electricity up to 20 e/month).
For June the rent is 850 e. This price includes water + Wi-Fi + electricity (up to 20 e/month). If the renovation starts during June, the rent can be lowered.
For July the rent is 750 e (water + Wi-Fi + electricity up to 20 e included).
For 1.8-24.8 the rent is 600 e (water + Wi-Fi + electricity up to 20 e included).
For shorter periods the rent is 40 e/day (35 e/day if the renovation is on and going) + electricity by consumption. Water and Wi-Fi are included in these daily rents.
The possible disturbance due to the renovation has already been noticed in the prices above!
A written rental agreement is signed between me (landlady/owner of this studio) and you (the tenant).
Excellent connections to Otaniemi and Helsinki by bus (+ metro) or by bike. (There is a bike that you can use!) It takes only 10 minutes to Otaniemi by bike. It is only 2,9 km to Aalto University so you can also walk there. It takes ~15 minutes to Otaniemi by bus + metro and ~25 minutes to Otaniemi by bus. It takes about 30 minutes to Helsinki, Kamppi by bus+metro.
The nearest city bike station is only ~200 meters away from the apartment. There are 150 city bike stations in Helsinki and 70 (35 will be added during this summer) in Espoo.
This studio apartment has a great and functional layout. It has an open concept kitchen area which combines to the spacious living room and alcove. Private bathroom inside the apartment. There is a fridge, a freezer, a microwave oven, an electric stove with an oven and a kitchen hood in the kitchen area. In the bathroom there is a washing machine. There is a big & comfy bed (140 cm), a comfy 80 cm divan/extra bed, a desk, a dining table, chairs, a sofa, a television, a television table, several lamps and lights and two big mirrors in the apartment. Kitchen utensils, bed linen, towels, pillows, duvets, a vacuum cleaner plus some basic cleaning stuff and a lot of other small stuff is also found.
The housing cooperative has two free drying rooms, a laundry room, a sauna, a cold-storage space, a space where you can store your personal property and a room for vehicles that is used outside for example bikes or skis.
Possibility to rent a parking space for your car.
The nearest bus stop is only a 2-minute walk away from the apartment. The closest grocery store is only 1 km away.
It takes ~10 minutes to Ainoa shopping mall in Tapiola and ~20 minutes to Sello shopping mall in Leppävaara by bus. By bike it takes ~10 minutes to Tapiola and ~15 minutes to Sello.
The tenant has to purchase an extensive home insurance from a Finnish insurance company ( ~15 euros per month).
Security deposit is 1-3 x the rent (depends on how long the renting time is). The security deposit is paid back in full when the rental agreement ends if there is no unpaid rent due, no damage or cleaning expenses and no unpaid utilities owed by the tenant.
The tenant is not allowed to rent the apartment to anyone else! No subtenants!
No smoking/parties/pets allowed!
No deep-frying, use of excessive oil or flaming when making food on the stove or in the oven.
